ANP/ACP Independent Prescriber

​Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) who is an Independent Prescriber to support a practice in Somerset.

The role involves face-to-face consultations and clinical triage, with patients booked into 15-minute appointments for minor illness and injury presentations.

Shift Details:

• Location: Somerset, TA14

• Available Dates:

• Friday 2 October

• Friday 23 October

• Monday 26 October

• Wednesday 28 October

• Friday 30 October

• Hours: 08:30–18:00

• Break: 30 minutes

• System: EMIS Web

• Appointment length: 15 minutes

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face patient consultations

• Provide clinical triage

• Assess and manage patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe independently where clinically appropriate

• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web

• Deliver safe and effective patient-centred care

• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team

Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP

• Independent Prescriber qualification is essential

• Experience managing minor illness and injury presentations

• Confident providing face-to-face consultations and triage

• Experience using EMIS Web

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
