ANP/ACP Independent Prescriber

​Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) who is an Independent Prescriber to support a practice in Somerset.

The shift will involve a combination of face-to-face consultations and triage, with patients booked into 15-minute appointments for minor illness and injury presentations.

Shift Details:

• Location: Somerset, TA11

• Date: Friday 30 October 2026

• Hours: 08:00–18:30

• Break: 30 minutes

• System: EMIS Web

• Appointment length: 15 minutes

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face patient consultations

• Provide clinical triage

• Assess and manage patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe independently where clinically appropriate

• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web

• Deliver safe, patient-focused care throughout the shift

Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP

• Must be a qualified Independent Prescriber

• Confident managing minor illness and injury presentations

• Competent in face-to-face consultations and triage

• Experience using EMIS Web

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
