ANP/ACP Independent Prescriber

​Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ANP or ACP Independent Prescriber to provide locum support at a practice in Somerset between October and November.

The assignment involves face-to-face consultations and triage, with 15-minute appointments focused on minor illness and injury presentations.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Somerset, BA21

• Dates: Wednesday 14 October to Thursday 26 November 2026

• Hours: 08:30–18:00

• System: EMIS Web

• Appointment length: 15 minutes

• Parking: Free onsite parking

Responsibilities

• Undertake face-to-face patient consultations

• Provide clinical triage

• Assess, diagnose and manage minor illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe independently where appropriate

• Maintain accurate clinical records through EMIS Web

• Work effectively alongside the wider practice team

Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP

• Must be an Independent Prescriber

• Previous experience managing minor illness and injury presentations

• Confident with face-to-face consultations and triage

• Experience using EMIS Web

• Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills
