ANP/ACP Independent Prescriber

​Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ANP or ACP Independent Prescriber to provide locum support at a practice in Somerset.

There are several dates available throughout October, making this a flexible opportunity for clinicians looking to add additional shifts to their schedule. You'll provide face-to-face consultations and triage for patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.

Shift Details:

• Location: Somerset, TA18

• Available Dates:

• Friday 9 October

• Thursday 22 October

• Tuesday 27 October

• Wednesday 28 October

• Friday 30 October

• Hours: 08:30–18:00

• Break: 30 minutes

• System: EMIS Web

• Appointment length: 15 minutes

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face patient consultations

• Provide appropriate clinical triage

• Assess and manage minor illness and injury presentations

• Prescribe independently where clinically required

• Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS Web

• Deliver safe, professional and patient-focused care

• Work effectively alongside the wider practice team

Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP

• Must be a qualified Independent Prescriber

• Previous experience managing minor illnesses and injuries

• Confident undertaking face-to-face consultations and triage

• Experience using EMIS Web

• Strong clinical assessment and autonomous decision-making skills
