ANP/ACP Independent Prescriber

​Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced ANP or ACP Independent Prescriber for a locum shift at a practice in Somerset.

You’ll support the practice with face-to-face consultations and triage, managing patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries during 15-minute appointments.

Shift Details:

• Location: Somerset, BA21

• Date: Thursday 12 November 2026

• Hours: 08:30–18:00

• Break: 30 minutes

• System: EMIS Web

• Appointment length: 15 minutes

• Parking: Free onsite parking

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face consultations

• Provide appropriate clinical triage

• Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe independently where clinically required

• Record consultations accurately using EMIS Web

• Provide safe and effective patient care

​

Requirements

• Qualified ANP or ACP

• Independent Prescriber qualification is essential

• Experience assessing minor illness and injury presentations

• Confident undertaking face-to-face consultations and triage

• Experience using EMIS Web

• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
