COPD / Asthma Nurse

​We are looking for an experienced non-prescribing COPD / Asthma Nurse to support a primary care setting near Worcester for an initial 3–6 month period. The position is available on Thursdays and Fridays from 08:00–18:00, with a start date of 20th August or later.

Responsibilities

As a COPD / Asthma Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting patients with COPD and asthma.

• Carrying out relevant respiratory reviews and assessments.

• Providing general practice nursing support.

• Maintaining clear and accurate patient records using EMIS Web.

• Working collaboratively with the wider practice team.

• Providing high-quality, patient-focused nursing care.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Relevant nursing experience within a primary care setting.

• Experience supporting patients with COPD and asthma.

• General practice nursing experience.

• Confidence using EMIS Web.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

• Ability to work Thursdays and Fridays.

This is a non-prescribing position, so an independent prescribing qualification is not required.
