Role Overview:

As a GP in this practice, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, deliver preventative care, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the local community. Your experience with EMIS Web will ensure efficient patient record management and seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultations: Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations, diagnosing and managing a wide range of health conditions.

• Chronic Disease Management: Create and implement care plans for patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.

• Acute Care: Assess and treat patients presenting with minor illnesses and urgent medical issues.

• Prescribing: Safely and effectively prescribe medications in line with clinical guidelines.

• Preventative Care: Engage in health promotion, screenings, and lifestyle management programmes.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the EMIS Web system.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure cohesive and holistic patient care.

• Clinical Development: Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions to support continuous professional development.
