General Practitioner (GP)

​We are currently looking for an experienced General Practitioner (GP) to work in a GP surgery in Wigan. This is a five-day-per-week opportunity, with working hours from 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient consultations within the GP surgery.

• Assess, diagnose and manage a range of patient conditions.

• Complete relevant clinical and administrative duties.

• Undertake patient visits where required.

• Maintain clear and accurate patient records.

• Use EMIS Web to manage clinical information and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to support patient care.

Requirements

• Qualified General Practitioner with appropriate UK registration.

• Previous experience working within a GP surgery or primary care setting.

• Confident using EMIS Web.

• Able to manage surgery appointments, administrative duties and patient visits.

• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

• Availability to work five days per week, 9:00am–5:30pm.
