General Practitioner x2

We are currently seeking 2 experienced General Practitioners (GPs) for locum opportunities across practices in the Leicester area, starting from the week commencing 13th July, with potential cover extending through to the end of August.

This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across two separate practices, with an ideal schedule of Mondays and Thursdays or Fridays at one practice, and Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Wednesdays and Fridays at another. Each shift consists of 3-hour sessions, with no home visits required.

The successful candidates will be confident managing a wide range of primary care presentations and experienced using System 1 within a GP practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary care consultations within GP practices
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Provide safe, evidence-based patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical records using System 1
• Work collaboratively with practice teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Requirements

• GMC registered GP with relevant primary care experience
• Ability to work independently within a busy GP setting
• Experience using System 1
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
