Locum GP - North Peterborough

​We are looking for a Locum GP to provide sessional support to a practice in the North Peterborough area on selected dates during September and November 2026.

​

Available sessions:

• Friday 4 September, from 9:30am – 1:00pm

• Friday 13 November, from 2:00pm – 6:30pm

The workload consists of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with no home visits required.

• Morning session:

• 13 face-to-face appointments

• 2 telephone consultations

• Afternoon session:

• 13 face-to-face appointments

• 2 telephone consultations

• Alternatively, 9 face-to-face appointments and 6 telephone consultations

The practice uses System 1.

Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise

• Relevant UK GP and primary care experience

• Confidence managing both face-to-face and telephone consultations

• Experience using System 1 is preferred

• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills

• Relevant compliance documentation and right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled face-to-face consultations

• Complete telephone consultations

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients appropriately

• Maintain accurate clinical records

• Work effectively within the practice's existing clinical team

• Ensure high standards of safe and patient-centred care
