Locum GP

​We're seeking an experienced Locum General Practitioner to join a friendly GP practice in Weston-super-Mare on a regular basis from July until the end of October.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for consistent weekday sessions within a supportive primary care environment.

About the Opportunity

• Location: Weston-super-Mare

• Duration: July to the end of October

• Working Days: Thursdays and Fridays

• Hours: 09:00 – 17:30

• Clinical System: EMIS Web

• 14 patients per morning and afternoon session

• Mix of face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations and self-generated admin

• No home visits

• On-site parking available

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality face-to-face and telephone consultations.

• Manage a clinic of 14 patients per morning and afternoon session.

• Complete clinical administration and documentation throughout the day.

• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web.

• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to provide safe, patient-centred care.

Requirements

✔ GMC registration with a licence to practise
✔ Previous experience working in UK General Practice
✔ Experience using EMIS Web
✔ Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
✔ Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
