Locum GP

​We are seeking an experienced Locum GP to support a GP practice in North Yorkshire across several dates in December 2026 and January 2027.

​

Available dates:

• Tuesday 29 December 2026

• Thursday 31 December 2026

• Monday 4 January 2027

• Thursday 7 January 2027

​

Working hours are 8:00am–6:30pm.

The sessions will involve a combination of face-to-face appointments, telephone appointments and associated administration. The practice uses System 1.

Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise

• Previous UK general practice experience

• Confident managing face-to-face and telephone appointments

• Experience using System 1 is preferred

• Strong communication, clinical assessment and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage associated clinical administration effectively

• Relevant compliance documentation and right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face GP appointments

• Manage telephone consultations

• Assess, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and advice

• Complete required clinical administration

• Maintain accurate records using System 1

• Work collaboratively with the wider primary care team

• Deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care
