Practice Nurse – Treatment Room (Fridays in August)

​We're recruiting an experienced Practice Nurse to support a GP practice throughout August, working every Friday on full-day sessions. This is a treatment room-focused role with no chronic disease management responsibilities, making it ideal for nurses who enjoy hands-on clinical work.

Dates

• Friday 7 August

• Friday 14 August

• Friday 21 August

• Friday 28 August

Full-day sessions with flexibility on working hours.

​

Duties

• Cervical smear tests

• Adult and childhood immunisations

• Baby immunisations

• Wound care and dressings

• General treatment room duties

Please note: There are no chronic illness clinics as part of this role.

​

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

• Previous GP Practice experience

• Confident working independently in a treatment room

• Experienced in:

• Smears

• Immunisations

• Baby immunisations

• Dressings and wound care
