Practice Nurse

​We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a primary care setting in Manchester for an initial 3-month placement, starting as soon as possible. The practice can accommodate any availability each week, with flexibility around working times and hours, making this an excellent opportunity for a Practice Nurse looking for work that can fit around their existing commitments.

Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out cervical smears.

• Conducting asthma reviews.

• Conducting COPD reviews.

• Supporting patients with long-term condition management.

• Maintaining clear and accurate patient records using EMIS Web.

• Providing high-quality nursing care within the practice.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse.

• Experience with cervical smears.

• Experience conducting asthma and COPD reviews.

• Experience supporting long-term condition management.

• Confidence using EMIS Web.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Please note: Diabetes management is not required for this position as this is managed by the practice's HCAs.
