Practice Nurse

​Medical Staffing is recruiting a Practice Nurse to support services within the Birmingham area across May and June. This role involves delivering high quality nursing support within a primary care setting using EMIS Web. Flexible working hours are available, although the preferred shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day practice nursing duties while working closely with the wider clinical team to ensure excellent patient care and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver routine practice nursing services within a primary care setting
• Support patient assessments, treatment, and ongoing care management
• Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS Web
• Work collaboratively with GPs and wider clinical teams
• Provide safe, effective, and patient focused care
• Support efficient day-to-day clinic operations

Requirements

• Qualified Practice Nurse
• Previous primary care or GP surgery experience
• Confident using EMIS Web
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
