Practice Nurse

​We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a primary care setting in Tunbridge Wells from 14th September. The initial working pattern will consist of 37.5 hours across four days, with additional smear clinics available for up to four weeks from Monday 21st September.

Initial working pattern:

• Monday 14th September: 08:00–16:30

• Tuesday 15th September: 08:00–19:00

• Wednesday 16th September: 08:00–18:30

• Friday 18th September: 08:00–17:30

Following this, there is an opportunity to work one day per week, either Monday or Tuesday, carrying out smear clinics for up to four weeks.

Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out cervical smears.

• Administering childhood immunisations.

• Providing wound care and dressings.

• Administering other required immunisations.

• Maintaining clear and accurate patient records using EMIS Web.

• Providing high-quality nursing care within the practice.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse.

• Experience carrying out cervical smears.

• Experience administering childhood and other immunisations.

• Experience with wound care and dressings.

• Confidence using EMIS Web.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.
