Job description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a busy GP practice near Warrington and Liverpool on a locum basis. This long-term role offers 4 days per week with flexible hours, making it ideal for a clinician seeking consistency alongside work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be confident delivering a broad range of Travel Risk Assessment (TRD) duties, supporting patients with high-quality care in a fast-paced primary care environment. Experience using EMIS Web is essential to ensure seamless integration into the practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver routine practice nursing services within a GP setting
• Manage all TRD duties confidently and independently
• Provide safe, evidence-based patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to support patient outcomes
Requirements
• Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within primary care
• Confident managing all TRD duties
• Experience using EMIS Web
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
