Job description
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to support a busy healthcare setting in Nottingham. This ongoing opportunity is ideal for someone with previous primary care or healthcare reception experience who is confident managing patient interactions and administrative duties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while delivering excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Processing scanned mail and documentation
Booking and managing appointments
Processing prescriptions
Interacting with patients in person and over the phone
Supporting day-to-day reception and administrative functions
Shift Details
Monday: 08:00 – 14:00
Wednesday: 08:00 – 18:30
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
Ongoing placement
Requirements
Previous reception or administration experience within a healthcare setting preferred
Must be system trained and confident using healthcare systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
