Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer

​We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer to start Monday 3rd June 2024 – Wednesday 26th June 2024.

An opportunity to work in a static and mobile environment in the same place, with a variety of procedures and friendly people to maintain skill mix and maybe learn some new ones. 

Type of work: Locum - Ongoing

Location: AB25 -  Aberdeen

Period-Ongoing placement

Start -3rd ofJune 2024

Pay -35£/hr

Shift pattern/Hours:

Monday – Wednesday, 08:00am - 17:00pm

Monday & Tuesday in Aberdeen main labs, Wednesday in InHealth Mobile Lab

Key responsibilities:

You will be working with 2 InHealth nurses in the mobile, and a mix of Aberdeen and InHealth staff in the main labs. There is currently a locum cardiac physiologist working the same pattern. Line manager will be Lead Mobile Cardiac Radiographer, other line managers will also be available in their absence so there is always a point of contact, even on the weekends for emergencies.

• Full induction and Training provided.

Requirements/Experience:

• InHealth Mobile – GE IGS 320 x-ray system.

• Main Labs – GE/Philips/Siemens

• Use of GE x-ray equipment – Innova IGS 320

• Must have experience of diagnostic angiography, PCI, primary PCI, EP, chronic total occlusion (CTO) and device procedures.

Desirable Experience:

• Use of GE x-ray equipment – Innova IGS 320

Mandatory:

• DBS on update service.

• Right to work in the UK.

• 2 years minimum cardiac cath lab experience

• Degree/Diploma or relative education.

• HCPC Register with no restriction.
