Locum Primary Care Professionals (CQC Readiness Support)
Various Locations (Travel Required)

Our client, Neighbourhood Health Group (https://nhgp.co.uk) is seeking experienced Locum Primary Care professionals to support GP practices in preparing for CQC inspections. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to make a meaningful impact across primary care settings, working collaboratively with practice teams to drive quality and compliance.
About the Role
As a Locum CQC Readiness Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to conduct on-site mock CQC inspections followed by a virtual follow-up meeting to present a detailed and actionable report. You’ll provide practices with the guidance and tools they need to meet CQC standards confidently.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking professionals who can hit the ground running and bring a wealth of primary care knowledge, along with a deep understanding of CQC regulations.
Key Requirements:
Extensive Primary Care experience, ideally at a practice management level
Recent or current experience working in General Practice
Strong background in quality assurance and governance
Proven ability to interpret regulatory policy and turn it into practical actions
Understanding of operational risk management
Confidence with data interpretation and policy application
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative and respectful approach when working with practice teams
Confident delivering clear, accessible assessment reports
Solid understanding of current CQC standards
High attention to detail and organisational awareness
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
