Opportunities has arisen for an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated HCPC registered locum Pharmacists !
Our clients are looking for a locum pharmacists for a single and block bookings to start as soon as possible. The position is for 30-37.5 hours per week, with flexible days and working hours.
Job Title: Pharmacist
Pay Rates: £23-£30/hour
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30(negotiable)
Start Date: ASAP
Role & Responsibilities
Clinical and accuracy checking of prescriptions
Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions, supported through New Medicine Service and Discharge Medicine Service
Lead and manage team to support the operational requirements of the dispensary
Provides patient focused pharmacy services
Provision of Pharmacy First and other advanced services to meet the needs of the business)
Experience:
Pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)
Qualifications and Client Requirements
GPhC registration is essential
Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
Ability to manage relationships with the medical centered staff, including GPs.
Ward and Dispensary based (orthapedics would be an advance)
Mandatory trainings
