Practice Nurse – Permanent Position | Slough
Full or Part Time | Starting May/June | £20–£25 per hour (DOE)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join a welcoming and forward-thinking GP surgery in Slough. The team is looking to appoint a dedicated nurse to support maternity leave cover, with the view to a long-term, permanent role.
About the Role:
Permanent position – starting May/June 2025
Full-time or part-time options (minimum 3 days per week)
Salary £20–£25 per hour, depending on experience
Open to newly qualified nurses with the right core skills
Core skills required: Cervical Smears and Immunisations
Flexibility on start and finish times within surgery hours (08:00–18:30)
Support offered for Prescribing and ANP training courses
About the Practice:
Single-site surgery with a 12,000 patient list
Friendly and collaborative team: 7 GPs, 2 Nurses, 1 HCA, 3 Pharmacists, 1 Physician Associate
Supportive management structure with an Ops Manager and Practice Manager
Training Practice with a strong focus on development
CQC rated Good (2017)
Uses EMIS Web clinical system
Convenient parking available on surrounding roads
