​​Job Title: A&E Nurse

Location: Preston, UK

Pay Rate: £28-£40/hour

Shifts Patterns: Early, Late, Long Days & Nights

• Our esteemed Trust in the Lancashire area is renowned for its outstanding facilities, teaching, and research. We are currently seeking dedicated A&E Nurses to join our team, and we have a variety of shifts available with rates of up to £45.00 per hour.

• Working collaboratively with a friendly and welcoming group of A&E Nurses and other professionals, you'll have the opportunity to utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment to provide continuous monitoring and care for patients facing serious illness or instability.

• Flexibility is key, with the option to choose from various shifts. Your role will involve efficiently managing triage, treating resus patients, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing constant monitoring and care for patients in critical or unstable conditions.

• Actively supporting emergency admissions and their families, effectively communicating clinical information through various methods.

• Assessing and prioritizing patient/client requirements, with efficient delegation to others.

• Recognizing, reviewing, and reporting changes in patients/clients' conditions to senior team members.

• Adhering to the NMC professional Code of Conduct.

• Performing tasks such as taking blood/fitting a cannula, conducting patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen level) as needed throughout the shift.

• Treating resus patients and managing triage.

• Requirements for a Medical Staffing A&E Nurse:

• Right to work in the UK (proof required).

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience in A&E within the last 12 months.

• Ability to provide two professional referees from the past 6 months for references to confirm your skills.
