Are you a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with at least 3 years’ experience, looking for a clinically diverse role that makes a real difference?

We're working with a client seeking a Forensic Healthcare Professional to join their team within a police custody setting in Scarborough. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical care with the criminal justice system — supporting detainees, advising custody staff, and conducting forensic assessments.

💡 Full training is provided — ideal for those new to the custody environment.

🔎 The role involves:

• Assessing the physical and mental health of individuals in custody

• Determining fitness for detention, interview, and release

• Conducting forensic examinations and collecting evidence

• Advising custody officers on healthcare needs and risks

• Maintaining clear, accurate records in line with legal protocols

✅ To be considered, you will need:

• NMC or HCPC registration

• At least 3 years’ post-registration experience

• Full UK driving licence + access to a vehicle

• Excellent communication skills

• Eligibility to work in the UK and pass police vetting & DBS checks
