Practice Nurse

We have partnered with a cutting-edge healthcare partnership and training practice in Berkshire. They have a list size of approx 33,000 patient list operating on 2 sites. They are dedicated to improving patient services and training and developing clinicians for the future. They are actively seeking a new Clinical Pharmacist to join their diverse and experienced team of healthcare professionals.

Position Details:

·       Job Title: Practice Nurse

·       Job Type: Full time - Ideal F/T 37.5hrs FTE 9am-5:30pm, But will consider Part-Time

·       Location: Berkshire

·       Salary: £32,000 - £48,100 per annum, depending on experience, Plus NHS Pension, 5 weeks A/L plus BH & 1 week CPD allowance. Supportive of training, development.

·       Support Team:

Work alongside four GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Physician Associates, and Healthcare Assistants.

Main Duties:

·  .·    Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the partners:

·       Cytology

·       Wound care / ulcer care/Doppler

·       Removal of Sutures

·       NHS health checks and urinalysis

·       Travel clinic

·       Management of minor ailments

·       ECGs

·       Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Spirometry

·       Venepuncture

·       Hypertension management

·       Routine immunisations and childhood immunisations

·       Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician

·       Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings as required
