Practice Nurse Opportunity - Part-Time, Permanent
We are representing a well-established healthcare practice looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team.
Role Highlights:
Position: Practice Nurse
Hours: Part-Time, up to 24 per week (flex on days Mon-Fri)
Pay: £45,000 - £54,600 per annum, pro-rata
Location: Hertfordshire (Near Watford) - free parking and excellent transport links (close to M25 and tube/overground)
About the Practice:
Founded over 90 years ago, this health centre is located in a purpose-built facility in Hertfordshire. Serving 7,000 patients, the practice has a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, a nurse, clinical pharmacist, and first contact physio. As part of the Primary Care Network, they hold a "Good" CQC rating and consistently meet high standards in national and local disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, respiratory, cardiovascular)
Provide wound care, vaccinations, health promotion, and family planning services
Lead on infection prevention control and well-women/well-men clinics
Support elderly and housebound patients
Collaborate closely with the practice's multidisciplinary team
