Job Title: Registered Nurse Vascular
Location: Stoke on Trent, UK
Pay Rate: £21-£32/hour
Shifts Patterns: Early, Late, Long Days & Nights

Job summary:
The vascular ward is looking for enthusiastic, caring and compassionate nurses who want a rewarding nursing pathway and who have a specific interest in Vascular nursing.
The Post holder will be responsible for the assessment of the needs, development of programmes of care, and for the implementation and evaluation of these programmes for patients and their relatives.
To provide a high standard of clinical nursing within the ward / department
To manage a group of patients
To take charge of the ward when rostered and assessed as competent to take on the roles and responsibilities of leadership and supervision
To act as a role model to students and Nursing Assistants, Assistant Practitioners/trainees and Nursing Associates/trainees.
To present a positive, professional image of the organisation and of the nursing team
Main duties of the job
You will demonstrate a good knowledge of surgical conditions and the treatment required, using evidence based practice. You will support the team in the assessing , planning, delivery and evaluation of care to patients attending the department in accordance with Trust and Directorate pathways. You would be joining an established, dynamic, supportive team who always strive to uphold the Trusts Values at all times and work towards provide Quality care to all our patients.
Enthusiasm and and interest in Vascular Surgical Nursing.
Be responsible for the assessment of needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of patient care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of Professional Conduct and reflect the Trust’s policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
To facilitate the admission and discharge of patients liaising with other agencies to ensure continuity of care between hospital and community.
Ensure the delivery of holistic patient care recognising the individual needs of patients and their relatives.

Acute Nursing Experience as a Registered Nurse

Previous experience through Nurse Education or as Qualified Nurse
